How can we improve Traffic situation in India

Yesterday we left Amritsar Sahib from golden temple at around fifteen to three... but we got out of the city by fifteen to four... It took us one hour to navigate out of Amritsar... due to a traffic jam at the tight street that goes out of Saragarhi Parking. Whats the use of making six lanes for intercity roads, when it takes you one hour to navigate through 10 kilometers?

The frustrating part of travelling from Jalandhar to Amritsar was the fact they build one side of the road for 3 kms and switchover to other side for 3 kms. And that part where you go back and forth is so dangerous.

I travelled in a taxi at night for that trip and didn't think we were going to make. . There were so many tractor-trallies with no lights.

I must give credit to the drivers who drive at night. Hopefully, it will be completed in few years and it should be good then.

Indeed.. the stretch from Jalhander to Amritsar is damn dangerous and high on traffic. It was the scariest part of our journey.

Mohali has electricity issue. The lights only operate when there is electricity in the area.

ik hor gal hei.. most of the lights in Chandigarh are of 180 seconds each.. ehna te khadan layi bade patience d lod hundi a.. its awlright in winters, but in summers.. it gives me shivers... quite literally... what do you people think? Are long duration light alright? or should they be for short duration?

mainu lagda hai ji k india ch driving tests implement hone chahide ne tan k jo lok drive karde ne ohna kuh hadh takk apne aale duwale challan da pata howe. baaki je sakke tan pedestrian crossings jaroor banniyan chaidiyan ne tan karke lokan nu asaani ho sakke.traffic problem nai hai lok khud ikk problem ne. police v kujh nai kar sakdi jadd takk sahi chalna nai sikh jaande.
