Guggu Gill is a Punjabi film star who was one of the stars who ruled the Punjabi Cinema (Punjwood) in the 1990s along with Yograj Singh. He has starred in more than 50 movie in his career. He debuted with a little role in super-hit Putt Jattan De in a dog fight scene.He has starred in films including Jatt Jeona Morh (1991), Truck Driver, Badla Jatti Da and Jatt Tey Zameen. He is also known of the villainious role he played in Gabroo Punjab Da.

He is a resident of village Mahni Khera, near Malout Muktsar, Punjab (India). He has two sons,Guramrit Singh and Gurjot Singh. He belongs to famous Gill Family who made Movie Putt Jattan de
