Non resident category is for the guys who are nri but give punjabi music… brar…y u hvng doubt in honey singh. i think that guy deserves to be acknowledged.. he has give gud music in that album.. listen to angreji beat, gabru, manak ali song, goliyan, brown rang.. nice music!
I know what non resident means. There should only be one category for all the singers. NRI’s asmaano nai utare jehna layi vakhri category chahidi hai.. sare same language ch music dende ne in this case punjabi then NRI te Non-NRI di division nahi honi chahid..If you consider Angrezi beat, Brown Rang to name a few a good music then i guess i have no hope for the punjabi music’s future.

I agree. Manmohan waris or infact Waris brothers should have been given more awards than anyone else.
Most popular song should have gone to Banera Chete aa gaya by Manmohar waris. Sung,Composed and Written well.
Surinder Shinda ji and Gurdas Mann ji were the correct choices. Dr. Satinder Sartaaj as well.
Music Director should have gone to Sangtaar.
