Everyone who goes to watch Punjabi Films had been waiting for this trailer to appear and it finally appeared online at Speed Records’ YouTube channel on 20th Feb. This also confirms that Speed Records has got the rights for the film Mirza in India. Mirza is set as an action flick with romance as the driving force.
The trailer is full of brilliant shots and great cinematography. Lighting in this film will be better than Hindi films and Baljit Singh Deo will emerge as a technical genius after this film. What remains to be seen is how he handles emotions as a director.
In this trailer, there are a couple of dialogues as well and you get to hear the attitude in Gippy’s voice which provides an insight into his character in the movie. We loved the trailer and surely this film will raise the bar of Punjabi films. We wish that this film does incredible business and breaks all the records.
A few pointers though:
1. Trailer is spelled as Trailor on Speed Records’ Channel. Such mistakes should always be avoided. This kind of makes a joke out of such a brilliant trailer.
2. The Information panel of Mirza Video is filled with names of Punjabi singers written alphabetically. A homage?
3. The background score in the trailer is heavily inspired by the Microsoft’s game Halo. Listen for yourself:
