Remember Amanat on Zee TV longtime back with lala Lahori Ram and 7 of his daughters? The show that became an instant hit with Indian families and served as launch pad for Gracie Singh? The director of Amanat, Inderjeet is coming up with another fiction show on the channel ETC Punjabi. Etc Punjabi had a very good run of the TV Show Akhiyan To Door Jayian Na and this is their second fiction show.
Kach Diyan Wanga stars Shavinder Mahal, Anita Shabdeesh, Malkeet Rauni, Tarsem Paul, Ramniq Kaur, Surbhi, Prabjot, Manpreet, Rahul, Satwant Kaur, Jaswinder Baaru, Ikatar Sahota, Roopi Maan, Roopa, Gurpreet Raikot, Tushar, Jarnail, Makhan and Chamkaur. The show has been Written By Jagjit Singh and Upinderpal. The show will start telecasting on 11th July from Monday to Thursday at 7:30 PM on ETC Channel Punjabi.
SYNOPSIS
Bliss of a family, conflict of love, complexity of relationships and a critique of society- Kach Diyan Wangan is all this and a lot more. Set in the contemporary Punjabi society its a fable that sways through emotions, drama, romance, hate, ambiguities and aspirations. Story of Sehgal family and their tryst with destiny is thoroughly engaging, heart smearing and thought provoking. The way his daughters explore the institution of marriage and cobwebbed structure of society is both poignant and inspiring. Tangentially the plot also touches upon social malaises such as addiction, disability, orthodoxy and fake status quo. Full of entertaining high points the show is a promising concept potent enough to explore new heights in Punjabi regional entertainment.
ETC channel Punjabi is all set to travel new frontiers of success with a new television serial set to launch in the second week of July. Titled KACH DIYAN WANGAN-the show is a promising entertainment value-addition to the already rich programming line-up on the channel. Directed by Indrajeet Arora-known for his very popular TV series Amanat on Zee TV years back, the show is going to create ripples in the fiction entertainment genre. I am watching this serial in Thailand, looks so nice, all crew member doing well as now. I would also to say pls prepare DVD of this serial after completion .

This serial looks ok but does not seem to be at the quality level of Akhiyan to door jayen na. It seems to me like a copy of the old Amanat serial. However it is still a good attempt at making a good punjabi serial after such a long time.
