After the success of Jihney Mera Dil Luteya, Neeru Bajwa and Diljit Dosanjh are once again ready to hit the huge screens. Both Neeru Bajwa and Diljit Dosanjh will be seen together in their upcoming Punjabi movie entitled Jatt and Juliet.
The other star cast of the movie includes Sari Mercer, Jaswinder Bhalla, Upasana Singh, Rana Ranbir, B.N. Sharma and Karamjit Anmol.
The film falls under the direction of Anurag Singh, the director of Yaar Anmulle. Dheeraj Rattan will be entertaining with his dialogues this time as well.
The film will be released under the banner of Grewalz Cine Corp. & Speed Records by Darshan Pal Singh Grewal and Gunbir Singh Sidhu, who are the producers of the film.
The movie falls in the genre of Romantic comedy and will be released on 29th of June this year. So far the film’s posters and trailers have really impressed Punjabi audiences. The Trailer of the movie has already become the most watched Punjabi Film Promo ever on YouTube. At the moment Diljit seems like the best attraction movie has to offer. His fresh face and comic antics seem to be coming from the heart and if the film carries the same appeal as the promo and trailers, it will surely be a treat to watch.
Three song promos from the movie have also been released and out of these 2 have been well liked, namely “Fatto” and “Mind Na Kari”. The editing of the film seems quite nice from the promo and the songs. All in all we are all having a lot of hopes from the film. Let’s see what becomes of it. The expectations are that J&J will get the biggest opening in Punjabi Cinema till date.
There has been a slight controversy on the “Dangar Doomna” Poster of the film where people at Facebook started blaming Diljit for degrading the look of Turban and calling a sardar “Dangar”. But the controversy really didn’t gather much support from the majority of people as they understood that it’s just a poster and nothing serious. On a serious note, if anyone should be blamed, it should be the PR team of the film who planned this poster, and not Diljit, who simply seems to be the target of all controversies these days.
