After his last album which was set on religious tone, Sikh, Diljit Dosanjh is now back to rock and roll with Back to Basics. Music of the album has been composed by Tru Skool, whose twitter account says,
“Been getting a few messages about the Diljit album. Again,this is his album which shows his expressions, it’s not a typical Tru Skool album. There are a variety of tracks which some do not sound like a typical Tru Skool production, however I hope you can appreciate the effort.”

Back to Basics will be released on 1st of November 2012. The album will be Diljit’s first full solo album since 2009. It’s great to see Diljit Dosanjh back as a singer after the heights he achieved with his last Punjabi movie Jatt and Juliet. Jatt and Juliet, in which he was opposite Neeru Bajwa, was a massive hit that multiplied Diljit’s fan following overnight.
I’m eagerly waiting for this album’s release. And my wishes are with the “Back to Basics” team!
